Terms of Service (Draft)
Last updated: July 2026 · Status: draft for legal review
1. The service
ABARecords provides a multi-tenant EMR platform for ABA providers: clinical documentation, scheduling, data collection, assessments, supervision and compliance tooling. The service is provided to organizations (tenants) under a service agreement; staff users access it under their organization's account.
2. Accounts and roles
Access is role-based (administrator, BCBA, BCaBA, RBT, and others). Users must keep credentials confidential, use only their own account, and access only records they are authorized to see. All access is logged.
3. Data ownership
Tenant data belongs to the tenant. The platform receives only the limited license needed to host, process, back up and display that data to authorized users of that tenant. We store no data beyond what the service requires.
4. Acceptable use
- No entering of real Protected Health Information until the organization's BAA is executed and PHI mode is enabled.
- No attempts to access other tenants' data or defeat security controls.
- Clinical content generated with AI assistance must be reviewed and signed by a qualified clinician before use.
5. Clinical responsibility
ABARecords is a documentation and operations tool. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. All clinical decisions remain the responsibility of the licensed professionals of the tenant.
6. Availability and changes
We aim for high availability but the service is provided "as is" during the preview period. Material changes to these terms will be notified to tenant administrators.
